Well, I consider my husband pretty popular :0) After a long hiatus, (has it really been almost two years!?) I have decided to get back to blogging. Mainly because it has been a great way for me to organize our family pictures and memories. My husband has been looking back through each post with our kids recently, showing them what they looked like and the things we did when they were younger, and we realized how nice it was to have these memories here.
A lot has happened since my last post. I will share more about some of those things later. For now I wanted to post some pictures of our trip last weekend where we picked apples and pumpkins at a local orchard. Our oldest child was away at a birthday party so we were short one kid.
It was a beautiful day and there were many families out picking apples. We started out towards the Red Delicious apples, first.
Jackson and Olivia pulled ahead anxious to get started...
...while Daddy stayed back and took Lily off me so my hip could rest.
Lillian is our newest addition. I believe this is her first appearance on the blog. She didn't help pick very many apples, but she enjoyed the wagon ride
and playing with the apples the rest of us picked.
Out in the pumpkin patch, Jackson found a cherry tomato plant.
Olivia and he enjoyed them straight off the vine while looking for the perfect pumpkin to call their own.
We ended up with quite the assortment of gourds and pumpkins. We used them, with some Mums, in a Fall display on our front porch.
