Easter Pics!

We were fortunate to have my mom and brother here with us for Easter. We had so much fun. Here is the story as best we could capture in pictures. You might need to click on the individual pics to get a better view. I am not the best photographer....

Look at what the Easter Bunny left us!

Everyone checks out their goodies....

Miss Olivia Joyce all gussied up for church right out of the bath. The gloves were a wee bit too big.......

We took turns posing for a few pics before church.

Olivia loved her basket....

and shortly thereafter.....
Jackson is all tuckered out after a long fun day. The gloves found a better fit on his hands.

Poor Andy got sick and slept on the sick chair.

and Brian Jr still putting his goodies to good use. I love this pic because it shows just how tall and lanky my big boy is getting....

We hope you all had a wonderful Easter. He is not here! He is at recess!

Happy Birthday Babe!

Big E turned 36 today. We celebrated with a small family party in the morning and then an adult night out with no kiddos.

The infamous Blankie Pink....

Olivia has quite the attachment to this pink blanket. It is lovingly called "blankie pink" - affectionately named after Jackson's infamous "blankie brown". I tried early on to get Liv attached to a much prettier floral blankie. I even had one monogrammed with her name on it in bright girly colors. She would not have anything to do with any other blanket but this one from Amy Coe for Target. Luckily my sister had one of these exact blankets for her daughter that we ended up stealing.

Interestingly enough, we were at the mall Saturday and were stopped by a mother who was trying hard to restrain her daughter from toppling Olivia over in her stroller. Her little girl was screaming for her "Daa Daa". Her "Daa Daa" just so happened to be the name for her lovie pink blanket- the exact same Amy Coe pink blanket as Olivia had. She wanted Liv's blanket and Liv was not giving it up without a fight. The mother and I talked about how funny it was that they had both taken to this particular blanket. They only had one and she has been unable to find another. A quick read of the tag showed us that this blanket happened to be a "special limited edition" - I am so glad we have two because as you can see, Olivia is quite attached!

The Sickies...

hit us this past week. Everyone took turns on the sick couch, even Big E and me. I have not been sick like that in forever. Olivia is still getting over her bug. I just happened to get a few pictures of Jackson in the middle of his misery.

Olivia's Favorite Toy These Days

is her plastic piggy bank with large plastic coins. She takes it out of the cupboard every morning and starts saving. Hopefully she will continue this habit when she is older....
